Raila Odinga's ODM party continued with streaks of victories on Friday after two by-elections victory.

Earlier, Japheth Omari clinched win in Bassi Chache ward having trounced Jubilee's Fred Nyachoti by a margin of 800 votes.

Coincidentally, the victory came at the time Raila was attending ex-minister Henry Obwocha's funeral in Nyamira.

Later on Saturday, Raila is expected to grace closing ceremony of KICOSCA games at Gusii stadium as his authority in Nyanza remains unchallenged.

At North Kadem ward, Lucas Wagai scooped 3,705 votes against CCM's Priest Okinyi who managed 1,870.

"IEBC declared final results for North Kadem Ward; Lucas Wagai of ODM-3715 and Priest Okinyi of CCM-1870. Congratulations Hon. Wagai for the victory," Tweeted the ODM party.

The victories comes at the time ODM party is managing internal storm following handpicking of Ochillo Ayacko as candidate for Migori senatorial by-election in October.

In Nyamira, Raila maintained that the region was his stronghold adding that he's focused to uplift living standards of people.
