Opposition leaders have been told to continue sleeping while DP Ruto is traversing the country to woo voters ahead of 2022 general elections.
According to a former MCA contestant Thomas Nyamote, Ruto will win the presidency easily because he is focused to persuade voters to vote for him.
"It is worrying that NASA leaders are sleeping while DP Ruto is moving across the country to woo voters. He will definitely win presidency easily while opposition leaders will be in a deep sleep," said Nyamote on Sunday at Igonga shopping centre.
Mr. Nyamote who unsuccessfully vied for Bomariba ward MCA seat in Kisii County on ANC party ticket during the last year's polls said opposition leader Raila Odinga must retire so that other leaders can take over the role of opposition politics.
"Raila is sleeping and other leaders like Kalonzo, Musalia and Wetangula are stuck on which direction to follow. Let Raila retire so that opposition can re-organize well ahead of the 2022 polls failure to which Ruto will have a walk in the park," he added.
He maintained that he is impressed with Ruto's committed to clinch the country's top seat.
