The sixth edition of the KICOSCA county games is almost coming to a close and the football bonanza is also hitting fever pitch as several teams are set to face-off in the quarterfinals.

On Thursday the following teams will face each other in the round of the last eight Kisii vs Nairobi to be played at the Gusii stadium, Machakos vs Kiambu (at Kisii School), Bungoma vs Nakuru (Cardinal Otunga), Trans Nzoia vs Meru (Kisii school). The first game will kick-off at 9:30 am.

KICOSCA secretary general Muraya Kabiri said the games have gone on well saying the competition has been tough this year.

“We are happy with the organisation. The fields are perfect and everything has gone on well without a hitch. We expect to start well in the track events beginning today,” he said.
