Recently, Murkomen linked Opposition leader Raila Odinga to the fresh evictions.

Addressing a section of the evictees on Thursday, the Senate Minority Leader claimed that Raila has heavily influenced the evictions, alleging that he is banking on the move to sabotage Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

However, speaking on Radio Citizen Saturday, Makadara lawmaker George Aladwa said it was wrong for Murkoman to drag Raila into the issues.

Aladwa noted that the Former Prime Minister remains a civilian despite his current political truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

''Murkomen lazima amheshimu Raila na ajue yeye sio wa rika lake ama ndugu yake, lazima awache kumtajataja bila sababu (Murkomen must be respectful to Raila and note that they are on different levels. He must stop mentioning him recklessly),'' said the ODM Nairobi branch Chairman.

''Raila hayuko kwa serikali na hahusiki katika kuondoa watu msituni, kwa hivyo MUrkomen awatafute wanaohusika (Raila is not part of government. Murkomen must direct his blames to the relevant bodies),'' he added.

Murkomen who spoke in the company of other Jubilee-allied Rift Valley leaders said that the government will aid the evictees in reoccupying their homes.
