Speaking while on her hospital bed in Kilifi County, Chepkemboi said that she parted ways with the lover, Henry Kipkoech, in December 2018 little did she know that one day he will come looking for her with such an evil motive.

She also revealed that Kipkoech, a student at Kenyatta University in Nairobi, is the father of her four-month-old daughter.

The man descended on the girl before stabbing her on the neck and chest on Sunday after showing up in her room in Kilifi County.

She said that Kipkoech had requested to restore peace between them before he became wild.

“He came to my room at 6 am and knocked on my door. I peeped through the window and saw him. I went back to bed because I did not want to open the door for him.

He pleaded with me to open the door, saying he came with an aim of restoring peace between us,” She told Citizen.

She also said that they talked with the boyfriend for some time before she agreed to let him in.

The boyfriend, however, did not leave as he has promised but instead took three knives from a paper bag and stabbed her.

Naomi said that she decided to dump the man because he was not supportive.

She claimed that the parents only supported her for two months before they left her on her own.
