Harambee Stars Coach Sebastian Migne has today unveiled his 30-man provisional squad for the AFCON tournament set for next month.
Speaking during the launch, Migne noted that the players were selected based on their current form.
However, a number of top players missed out on the shortlist, and will not feature for Kenya in the continental tournament.
Here are some of the players who nevrr made it to the squad:
1. Jesse Were
The Zesco United forward is in good form and has been scoring lots of goals for his club. He, was however, left out of the national team.
2. Dennis Oliech
The veteran Gor mahia striker has also been left out of the squad, despite having a good comeback season.
Oliech has netted five goals for Gor Mahia this season.
3. Enos Ochieng
Despite being Kenyan Premier League top scorer at the moment, the Ulinzi Stars target man did not make it to the Harambee Stars AFCON 2019 squad.
4. Haron Shakava
The ever reliable Gor Mahia defender did not make the cut to the Harambee Stars AFCON 2019 squad, despite shinning for his club.
