At Nandi on Sunday, Uhuru had fired shots to officers in the National Cereals and Produce Board, whom he accuses of mismanagement of funds.

And at Bomet, Uhuru insisted that he shall ensure public resoereso are jealously guarded.

"I swear before God, we shall ensure these thieves are sent behind bars. We can't continue living like that," he roared.

The Head of State added: " You can't defraud poor farmers be it of maize, milk or tea and expect to walk free. That is not possible."

He was touring Bomet County along with his deputy William Ruto and a host of leader from the region.

The President also reignited the lifestyle audit debate, adding that it will help nab those stealing from the public.

He challenged detectives to expedite investigations on cases of corruption, adding that the move will help recover lost fortune.

"Whether they steal and hide, we are coming for them. Lifestyle audit will help us arrest these people. Their days are numbered."
