Betty is seen blushing in the video as the artist unleashes his ‘raunchy’ rhymes, something that rubbed a section of Kenyans the wrong way.

Radio Jambo's mid-morning show host Massawe Jappani wondered how one would announce the track on-air.

"How do I even announce this song on-air???? Support Kenyan music activists leteni opinions na mawe.. @bettymuteikyallo what's there to dance to?” she posed.

This attracted divided opinions among Kenyans as a section of Kenyans online argued that the quality of Kenyan music is wanting.

This comes at a time when there has been a heated debate after local artists complained that Kenyan DJs and radio presenters have not been playing their tracks in the local media. 

However, they have defended themselves saying that foreign music is made skillfully compared to the local ones.

Milele morning show co-host Felix Odiwour blasted Kenyan musicians citing lack of professionalism.
