Ndeti said she is expecting a 'miracle' just like it happened in June 2018 when the Court of Appeal ruled in her favor.

"What I can ask you guys is to pray for me so that I win this humongous battle and serve you, in June I saw a miracle and I am expecting it to happen again," Ndeti said.

She addressed mourners at a burial in Matungulu, Machakos County on Thursday.

Ndeti was referring to an election petition case between her and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua that is pending before the Supreme Court judges.

Mutua petitioned the appellant court's ruling that nullified his August 8, 2017's election victory stating it was not free and fair.

Ndeti said she's ready to serve Machakos people without fear or favor stating that her track record as an assistant minister is impecable.

She condemned the MPs who allegedly accepted bribes to shoot down the controversial report on contraband sugar.

"When Kalonzo and I were ministers, there was no graft as compared to now. There's much rot in the assembly, so full of greedy lawmakers out to fill their stomachs," Ndeti said.

Ndeti asked MPs to be trustworthy and effectively perform the duties they were elected to do in parliament.

"Kenyans are dying because of Cancer day in day out because of the contraband things they are consuming. Lives of millions of Kenyans aren't worth Sh10,000, MPs should man up and work," she added.

"If you accepted the bribe, just know you're a one term lawmaker. That's the truth of the matter, I'm sure the electorates have learned their lessons," Ndeti concluded.
