The residents claimed that since winds blew off the roof of Chitago primary school classrooms, area MP Shadrack Mose has gone silent.

"It is sad that Mr Mose is asleep on the job instead of waking up to serve the electorates. We want to see his input to re-build the school whose roof was destroyed by strong winds," said the school Chairman Henry Mose.

Daniel Nyachwaya, an angry voter regretted voting for the MP and claimed that there was very little he has done since he was declared winner in last year's polls.

"Mose is a disgrace to us common voters. It is now that we are realising our mistake. In fact, we could have re-elected the former MP Timothy Bosire," he said.

Mr Nyachwaya reiterated that the MP should ensure the roof of the classrooms is repaired without any delay.

Elvinah Moraa threatened to transfer her children from the school next year.

"Our children could have been injured if they were in the school when winds blew off the roof. Next year, I am not going to allow my kids to report back to the school," she noted.
