Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has sent a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto over the alleged plot to assassinate Ruto.
Speaking to Radio Citizen on Wednesday, Kabogo argued the head of state and his deputy not to take the assassination matter lightly.
"That is not a small thing. And I want to congratulate the President because of asking these people to be investigated," he said.
"Because how can you come threatening the life of the Deputy President. That's not a DP for the Kalenjin, he is the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya," he added.
The flashy legislator went ahead to send a message to Uhuru, Ruto and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen. He argued then not to politicize this matter.
"This is not a matter to be politicized and I want to tell the DP Ruto, Murkomen and the President that this not a light matter to be politicized," he said.
He asked those involved in the investigation of this matter to get to the bottom of it.
