Socialite Corazon Kwamboka has decided to put aside her socialite lifestyle to revisit what she learnt in a law class.

Kwambaka who graduated in 2016 in the field of law, shared with her followers why Jacque Maribe should be considered a criminal should her fiance Joseph Irungu alias Jowie be found guilty of the murder of Monica Kimani.

On her Instagram page, she said Maribe would have committed the same crime as Irungu himself if at all she played any role, for instance, planning the act.

"ACCESSORY TO A CRIME: In criminal law, helping or contributing to a crime is as criminal as actively and actually committing the crime," read her post in part.

She went further to outline the following scenarios where one can get locked up and prosecuted in a criminal court if he/she is linked with a perpetrator for:

1. Coming up with the idea.

2. Commanding someone to commit a crime

3. Hiring someone to commit a crime for you

4. Instigating a crime

5. Giving advice on how to commit a crime

6. Covering the crime, whether before or after it’s done.

From her post, it is clear she wants Maribe to be charged on the same basis as her lover Irungu if the court should find him guilty.

Maribe and Irungu are expected back in Milimani court on next week where their bail will be heard and determined.
