Speaking during the launch of Universal Health Coverage in Bomet County on Saturday at Silibwet, Ruto dismissed claims that he is no longer in good terms with President Uhuru Kenyatta after the handshake with ODM Leader Raila Amolo Odinga.

The second in command insisted that there are no cracks in the ruling party despite its Vice Chairman David Murathe opting to resign from his post after causing a storm with the anti-Ruto remark.

Ruto, who is considered one of the front-runners in the race for Presidency, said that he and the Head of State are determined to achieve the Big Four Agenda before the completion of their terms in office.

“The President, myself and the entire Jubilee administration is solely focused on transforming the country,” he said.

He assured his supporters that the Jubilee regime will live up to their expectations before 2022.

The Kalenjin political kingpin, who is opposed to the creation of the post of the Prime Minister, urged Kenyans to ignored allegations that he has fallen out of President Uhuru favor.

He called upon leaders not to engage in politics at the expense of development within the short period left before 2022.

The meeting was also attended by Governors Joyce Laboso (Bomet), Paul Chepkwony (Kericho), Samwell Tunai (Narok), Bomet Senator Christopher Langat, nominated Senator Alice Milgo, Woman Representative Joyce Korir and Bomet Central MP Ronald Tonui.

Others who were present were MPs Beatrice Kones (Bomet East), Gideon Koskei (Chepalungu), Dominic Koskei (Sotik) and Brighton Yegon (Konoin),
