Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has given her vote on the controversial Finance Bill 2018.

While on a trip away from the country, Passaris took to her Twitter account insisting that she doesn’t support Uhuru’s 8% VAT on petroleum products.

“In the midst of all the rhetoric, I pray the cry of the People supersedes the noise and guides today's vote. Given that I'm out of the Country with the Health Committee, I don't have a vote but this is my stand; 0% VAT. #TaxVoteKe #FinanceBill2018.” She wrote on her Twitter account.
