NTV news anchor Dennis Okari has explained why he does not talk about his private matters in public.
According to Okari, his private life involving his daughter Ivana is not for public discussion. He argues that the daughter should be raised up in a silent environment.
“My daughter does not deserve the kind of publicity she has been getting, she deserves to grow up quietly and no one including myself as her father should interfere with her rights to privacy,” he said in an interview with Nairobi news.
On matters divorce with KTN's Betty Kyallo, Okari said that he will soon make the details public.
“I’ll speak when the right time comes and I can assure you it’s going to be very soon," said Okari.
Okari is set to join NTV's fresh look news anchoring team.
The investigative journalist has kept a low profile since divorcing with Kyallo three years ago.
