A 24-year old woman who sells chang’aa was busted romping with her client on happened on Sunday at Eroga village, Matieko in Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County.
A witness, Zachary Mokua, said he had gone to buy chang’aa when he found the woman, Elizabeth Omweri laid on the sofa by Jomo Magata, enjoying the 'goodies'
“I went to buy chang’aa to drink since I was feeling thirsty. I forced myself into the house and found Elizabeth and Magata and getting busy,” said Mokua.
Area Nyumba Kumi official Fred Onderi said the woman has been sleeping with married men in the exchange of money.
“Elizabeth is a notorious chang’aa seller in the area. She has persistent with the illegal trade despite the several arrests. Her intention is to sleep with married and unmarried men in the exchange of money to boost her chang’aa business,” he said.
He said Magata has not gone to his home after the incident because he fears his wife will beat him for engaging in sex with another woman outside of wedlock.
Onderi said from Monday, there will be crackdown on illicit brews in the region.
