The Jua Kali showpiece that brought together exhibitors from East Africa Community countries including Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda kept local youths frequently attending it besides trying to befriend foreign ladies most preferably those who they found attractive.

“I found one of the Burundi girls by the name Tatania. She amazed me with her accent and gorgeousness bestowed in her face…She kept smiling while conversing,” Gideon Kiptoo, a student leader from a local college in Eldoret recounted.

Kiplagat Easton, another youth said that he took contacts from one of the ladies, Nana Lorine, and they have been communicating since she left the country.

Kiplagat is looking forward to meeting Nana when he travels to Kigali, Rwanda, which presumably might bring her to be his wife.

“Nana is a nice woman I have ever met in Kenya. She is a black, petite and jovial woman. We took supper together before leaving the country hoping to see me there in Kigali next year,” Kiplagat alias Kiplaa narrated the last moments with the foreign lady.

He argues that Rwandan women seem to be simply loving and cheap to sustain compared to Kenya ladies who, according to Kiplagat, are apparently fleecing men.

Legible bachelors from Uasin Gishu are now burning the midnight oil to see a way through to Rwanda and Burundi expecting to come back smiling with bride-to-be partners.
