Jubilee affiliated political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has now given his opinion, this time advising against one of his friends in the government.

While advising Ruto in The 5th Estate talk show, Ngunyi said the only way Ruto would come out of the controversy is by surrendering the building for demolition.

He insisted that giving up Weston would clear his image ahead of 2022 when he expects to vie for the country's presidency.

"The cost of losing a few buildings without a fight is nothing compared to the price of becoming the president," Mutahi said.

"Ruto should not interrupt the state aggression towards him. A man who says we cannot fix corruption in this country should not interrupt the man fixing corruption," he added.
