Kilonzo Junior said it is malicious for the governors to blame the former Vice President.

He said the trio should instead settle down and effectively serve their electorates.

Speaking on Milele FM ‘Kivumbi’ Show on Wednesday morning, Kilonzo Junior stated that blaming Kalonzo does not solve the region’s challenges.

The senator said Ukambani people need development, adding that elected leaders must stop the rhetoric and petty politics and serve their electorates.

“The three governors should utilize the resources they are getting from the national government to benefit the people instead of shifting unnecessary blame to Kalonzo Musyoka,” Kilonzo Junior said.

Kilonzo Jnr, however, lauded the governors' move to form the Peoples Empowerment Movement (PEM).

He said the movement will help promote development if it focuses on championing growth and not petty politics.

The Makueni senator urged Ukambani governors and other politicians to help unite the community moving forward.

He said unity is what will deliver the region from poverty among other socio-economic challenges.

Last week, Ngilu denied claims that PEM was formed to frustrate Kalonzo's 2022 presidential bid.

She said the movement's aim is to champion development and unity in Ukambani region.
