There was drama at a church in Kandara as Kiambu Woman Rep Gathoni Wamuchomba was heckled and jeered at during her speech.
Police officers were forced to swing into action to contain the situation.
A man who shouted at the former radio journalist was hounded out of the church.
It took the intervention of a religious leader at the Kandara church to calm down the restless congregation.
The problem started when she hit out at an unnamed female leader she claimed had abused her in Kiambu.
"There is a woman who came to Kiambu and started abusing me. A woman who you voted for... I will say what I have to say because it is a pure truth. A woman does not use foul language on another woman. I did not come here to abuse anyone. I came here to pray for you, " Gathoni Wauchomba said in Kikuyu, standing her ground.
Wamuchomba was accompanied by other leaders who are members of the Kieleweke team.
She called on leaders engaging in politics to wait for 2022 and work for the Kenyans people.
"Uhuru Kenyatta is a sign of unity. He should be given the chance to work, " she said.
