Mr. Obado, who is facing two murder charges; that of Sharon Otieno and Baby Sharon, will return to court on Wednesday for bail application ruling by Justice Jessie Lessit.

But his mini-billboards at Bomet excited his supporters, who still believe that he's a victim of fierce political rivalry in South Nyanza.

"Seeing him on that billboard reminds us that he loves development and his tribulations will end soon," argued Milca Onyango on Migori Republic Council.

Another user, Michael Otieno said: "Migori County seat is not vacant. That image brings nostalgia and we hope he's safe in prison. He will be soon out to serve his people."

The ongoing Lake Region Economic Bloc expo attracts 14 counties from Western region and was officially opened by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday.

Portraits of all fourteen governors have been mounted across the streets of Bomet, a move Governor Joyce Laboso says is a sign of strong bonding.

"This shows the presence of unity amongst us. We want to set avenue where member citizenry can access loans for empowerment," she said.

Mr. Obado, who is serving his second term, despite conceding that he was a boyfriend to Sharon, he however insists that he knows nothing about the death.
