Lamu East lawmaker Sharif Athman announced that he would host Ruto as he opens Patte Girl's Secondary school in Faza Ward.

He visited the school on Monday to oversee preparations ahead of receiving the DP.

On his part, Lamu West MP Stanley Muthama welcomed residents at Umoja Primary School, saying Ruto would tour the constituency and officially launch Mpeketoni Girls secondary school in Bahari ward.
