Police in Migori County are looking for a man suspected of killing his six-month-old wife.
The incident happened in Bisaumu Village, within Kuria East constituency, after an argument reportedly ensued between the suspect and the wife.
The suspect has since been identified as 35-year old Pintu Boroi.
According to neighbors, Boroi stabbed the woman following a disagreement over the paternity of the unborn baby, resulting to her death.
Confirming the incident, Kuria East OCPD Ahmed Abdikadir said that the suspect used a spear to stab the deceased as is reported by the Citizen Digital.
He added that the suspect took off after committing the crime.
The police chief said that the deceased later died as a result of excess hemorrhage and her body has since been moved to the Migori County Level-4 hospital mortuary for preservation.
