Taking it to social media in solidarity with those pushing to see Duke Mainga get back to office, the young leaders insist that young people across Gusii region are proud of Mainga's tenure as a youthful CEC.

On his part, the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University student union Secretary General Tonny Amecha said that he will mobilise students across Nyamira to join those in Kisii the demos if Gov. Ongwae fires Mr. Mainga

"We are so proud of Duke Mainga. As an orphan, he has tried to build himself up to this level of being a CEC in the Kisii County Executive. We won't allow any external forces to interfere with his office work," said Amecha

"We are ready to mobilise university students across Gusii for a mother of demos in Kisii town if Ongwae won't hear our advise " added Mr Amecha, a career footballer and political activist
