In Nairobi on Wednesday, Uhuru dismissed a section of Jubilee leaders blaming Mr Odinga for the party's internal wrangles, saying that 'Raila and him do not have time to discuss party issues'.

But at Nyeri on Thursday, Ruto insisted that 'people are not stupid' adding that 'he is ready for a big test in future'. He also warned that 'there is a shortage of fools in Kenya'.

"I want to ask all those politicians to relax and cool their heels, we are not yet there. Let them stop roaming aimlessly. There is a test coming later and all these people sitted here are not stupid," Ruto fired at the opposition.

"They the person working to transform Kenya and the one who thrives on narratives. Even Mama Mburu has said there is a shortage of fools in Kenya, who are you to doubt? wondered Ruto, adding that he will prevail over his critics.

In what seems to be a division within Jubilee party, Ruto has been traversing across the country with a team called 'Tanga Tanga'Tanga' while his opponents have come with another faction called 'Team Kieleweke'.

The two teams mainly from Jubilee party have clashed over President Uhuru Kenyatta's legacy and 2022 succession politics. His critics accuse him of sabotaging Uhuru's legacy agenda.

But President Uhuru Kenyatta seemed to have lost interest in his deputy, often bashing him in public over succession politics. On Wednesday, Uhuru said 'they will discuss Jubilee issues later'.
