In a tweet on Tuesday, Khalwale trolled Kuria after he was booed while addressing a crowd.

"Pole @HonMoses_Kuria, a translation has just been done for me. Stop crying like @SABINACHEGE. The people have spoken," said Khalwale.

He trolled Kuria telling him that his people have turned against him just like they turned against.

However, this wasn't received well by the outspoken legislator who came out to blast Khalwale over his remarks. He further revealed that Khalwale got the wrong translation of the video.

“You got your translation wrong. Change your Koinange Street girlfriends,” he chided.

Kuria on Monday said that the people didn't want anything to do with the handshake.

“So Sunday was sad for me at the Ruiru Stadium concert. The people of my region sent me with a clear message. They do not want anything to do with the handshake.

“They fervently oppose it and are vehemently fighting it. We can not give up just yet. We have to work harder to convince them that the handshake is a good thing for our future,” he said on Monday.
