There was drama on Thursday morning after two university students engaged in a physical fight over a twilight girl.
The incident happened at Daraja Mbili area.
Witnessed said the trouble started when Brian Mogeni caught red-handed his colleague James Marubi with the twilight girl Charity Bonareri taking tea at a local hotel.
"Mogeni attacked Marubi on grounds that he snatched Bonareri from him. Marubi also fought back prompting to the thorough fight at the hotel," said a witness Kelvin Mochache.
Mr. Mochache said other customers who were at the hotel scampered for their safety.
The hotel owner Arnold Ombese said efforts to stop the two from fighting were in vain.
"They could not hear me when I tried to stop them. I was forced to alert a local administrator who immediately rushed to the hotel to intervene," he said.
The administrator Raphael Nyamweya said he apprehended the two immediately he arrived.
"The two are students at a local university and primary reports is that they were fighting because of a woman who is a sex worker. I nabbed them for further legal action," he said.
He warned youths against fighting because of woman's love adding that unnecessary fights are illegal.
The chief said the twilight girl disappeared immediately the fight broke.
