In a media briefing on Tuesday, Dena said that the President, who is completing his second and final term in government, is committed to transforming the lives of the taxpayers.

She said that Uhuru is not ready for sideshows at the expense of development.

"You can expect to see the president touring different parts of the country launching projects and inspecting the progress of those that are ongoing because he wants to improve the lives of Kenyans," she spoke.

Dena also revealed that Uhuru had already warned the leaders against engaging in early campaigns but they did not listen to his words. While addressing the Akorino faithful during their annual Prayers, Uhuru said that he is tired of leaders taking him for granted.

He said that he is not a lame duck as viewed by leaders allied to different Presidential aspirants.

An agitated Uhuru told the leaders to prepare for tough times ahead. He reminded them that development projects have continued to flop because the leaders have opted to politick from one region to another.

The remarks of the President have already caused a storm in Jubilee.
