Vocal Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has yet again revisited his quest to sit in State House, this time from Zimbabwe where he is on a two-day visit.

The former University of Nairobi student leader has expressed desire to serve both at City Hall and State House in future. 

At Gweru in Zimbabwe where he had been invited by Nelson Chamisa, the official opposition leader, Owino hailed the youth network, adding that it would push for change across Africa.

"Following an invitation from Comrade President Nelson Chamisa and the Leadership of the Movement for Democratic Change, I traveled for a two day working visit to Gweru in Zimbabwe," he said.

"With comrade President @nelsonchamisa Zimbabwe,President @HEBobiwine Bobi Wine Uganda,ODM Secretary General @edwinsifuna ,People Power Spokesman Joel,Chairlady Khumalo MDC Zimbabwe and Future President Babu Owino," added the ODM lawmaker.

Present at the Movement for Democratic Change delegates meeting in the outskirts of Harare were Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyangulanyi alias Bobi Wine, Nelson Chamisa and a host of other leaders.

He asked youths to engage in political activities as a way of changing the continent's fortunes. Mr Owino, Chamisa, Wine and South Africa's Julius Malema are founders of the Youth for Africa Movement.

"Youth for Africa Movement centered around peaceful agitation for increased youth involvement in governance and decision making across the continent," he said.

 It's not clear when he intends to run for president but he has tentatively identified 2027 as his trial year.
