Muthama said Raila and other opposition leaders silence on electoral reforms is worrying.

He said electoral reforms is a must if the country is to realize unity and reconciliation.

Muthama said the opposition leaders have taken 'back seats' and abandoned the reforms agenda.

"Our leaders led by Raila Odinga should be reminded that they made a promise to millions of Kenyans that they were going to push for reforms after the divisive 2017's general election and must fulfill their promise," Muthama said.

He addressed the press in Machakos on Sunday.

Muthama said time is running out, yet there is no sign of electoral reforms.

"We support the handshake and ask our leaders to fast-track electoral reforms and justice agenda," Muthama said.

The former Machakos senator said he will keep on reminding Raila and other NASA leaders of their promise to millions of Kenyans.

He said it will be a betrayal if the country does not achieve electoral reforms.

Muthama said relatives of Kenyans who died and those who got injured after the 2017's disputed general election are still crying for justice.

Raila has been quoted saying electoral reforms is one of the key agendas he agreed on with President Uhuru Kenyatta after the March 9, 2018's handshake.

Amani National Congress (ANC) Party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka are also pushing for electoral reforms

The two leaders say they will push the Jubilee administration to implement key electoral reforms before the 2022's polls.
