The vocal lawyer took to social media and declared that the struggle by Pendo’s parents Lancer Achieng and Joseph Abanja is about to bear fruits.

He urged the teams tasked to probing the five officers alongside a platoon comprising of 30 junior officers deployed to Nyalenda to quell election violence to speed the process in order for the family to get justice.

In her ruling, Resident Magistrate Beryl Omollo said that the court had proven beyond reasonable doubt that the officers were to blame for the death.  The officers mentioned are CI IP Linah Kogey, John Siringi, SS Benjamin Koima and Titus Yoma.

“The Inquest ruling on Baby Pendo confirms an Eternal Truth: In the height of political campaigns & in the middle of fog of war, False Immunity prevails, but when the seasons are over, when Chips are Down, Personal Responsibility arises. After Campaigns & War, you are on your own,” tweeted the popular lawyer.

The death of Baby Pendo left Kenyans in shock. The family and Kisumu residents have been urging the court to ensure justice is served.
