As the level of love-triangle-gone-sour deaths continues escalating in the country, Nyamira Senator Okong'o Omogeni has pleaded with men not to take vengeance.

Speaking on Monday morning during the AmLive show at NTV, Omogeni challenged men to pull up their socks but not be reactionary to the extent of taking one's life.

"Male child please if you seduce a girl and she says no, do not respond by killing her, that's not how real men do it," Omogeni said

The legislator also asked men to try to settle in life and follow laid down proper mechanisms of solving problems within their affairs and not killing. 

He pointed out that the law is too harsh on murder.

The girl child has in the recent weeks fallen prey to irregular killings due to alleged love affairs with the 6th year Moi University Medical Student Ivy Wangeci's death shocking the country. 

Wangecy was brutally murdered in Eldoret by her alleged boyfriend, Naftali Kinuthia.

A Pwani University student is also nursing injuries in hospital after she was attacked by her alleged ex-boyfriend.
