ODM leader Raila Odinga believes Moses Wetangula's decision to quit NASA coalition is meaningless.

A charged Wetangula quit the outfit on Tuesday, adding that he will concentrate on revamping his Ford Kenya.

"NASA died longtime ago. We are busy rebranding Ford Kenya ahead of 2022 polls," he said after the party's NEC.

So unsettled has been Wetangula that he even openly linked Raila to his ouster as Senate Minority Leader in April.

Through ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, Raila asked Wetangula to effect his decision by writing to Registrar of Political Parties.

“As a senior lawyer, he should know it can only be done by formally writing to the Registrar of Political Parties and inform her of Ford Kenya’s decision to quit NASA.

"If indeed it is the desire of Ford Kenya to quit NASA, what is taking so long? It is time to put your money where your mouth is Wetang’ula,” ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna said in a statement.

Lately, Wetangula has been warming to join DP William Ruto even though he has often distanced himself from the move.

Since the surprise unity pact between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila, Raila was reduced to a dysfunctional coalition, given Raila was it's main leader.
