Professor Makau Mutua impressed Kenyans when he forwarded his 84-page Curriculum Vitae to the Judicial Service Commission as he sought to secure the job of Chief Justice.

Mutua’s CV became the talk of social media as Kenyans wondered how a single person can have all these pages in the name of a CV.

The CV touched on his education and academic work.

Some of the things included in the academic work were books, seminars, publications, papers, and articles.

The CV records that Mutua was admitted to the University of Nairobi in 1979 before he went to the University of Dar es Salaam where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Law.

During his days at Campus, Mutua was very vocal on matters affecting the comrades.

He differed with different parties as he sought to protect the students' rights.

Mutua enrolled for a Master’s Degree in 1984 at the Tanzanian University before he moved to Harvard Law School for another Master of Laws (LLM) in 1985.

As if education was not enough for Mutua, he enrolled at the same institution for a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) in 1987.

Today, he has published thousands of works for his reader’s base.
