Three middle-aged men from Nyanchwa area have turned blind after stealing from a local church a few weeks ago.

According to the members of Holy Ghost ministries, the three got away with church offerings, chairs, as well as sound equipment but the church elders, warned them against the act as they said something strange will happen to them if they won’t return the items.

"Our church elders, as well as members, have been holding prayers and fasting and we believe our prayers have been answered as the three suspects turned blind,” said Jemimah Ongaga a church member

"On Thursday morning a section of locals reported to us that the three suspects have turned blind and we have urged their families to ensure we are paid what they stole from us before we plead with God for their forgiveness," said Okong'o.

He further added that the families of the three men have already agreed to their conditions and they were seeking for money to pay for the stolen goods.
