Speaking during an interview with Radio Citizen on Thursday, Malala said ANC party officials called a press conference and gave him a suspension letter without informing him.

"ANC party called a press conference and called their disciplinary committee, they concluded that they have suspended me without listening to me and explaining the reason behind it, they just came and told to exit. At least you better go outside there and look for new friends. (Chama cha ANC chenyewe kiliita press na wakaiita wale disciplinary committee, wakasema kwamba wamenisuspend bila kuniskiza hata, hata hawakuniambia nani amecomplain nimeshtakiwa na makosa gani, kuja ujitete. Wanakuja tu kukuambia toka. Afadhali uende huko nje utapata marafiki mpya," said the Senate Deputy Minority leader in a video shared on Facebook.

He also said he will meet with ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi if the pressure cools down.

"I will go to him as his son when the pressure cools down. (Mimi nitamwendea kama kijana wake tutatue hii maneno hasira zikitulia," he noted

During the interview, Malala also clarified that NASA coalition still exists and is functional.

"ANC and Ford Kenya always demand money every month, if they know NASA don't exist why are they demanding for money, NASA is there don't be cheated. (ANC and ford Kenya inaitisha pesa kila mwezi, kama wamejua NASA hakuna mbona wanaitisha pesa, NASA ipo msidanganywe," said the vocal legislator who was recently suspended for campaigning for Imran Okoth, an ODM candidate in the Kibra by-election.
