The Kisumu County Department of Tourism and Culture will this year hold a talent search programme in all its 7 sub-counties.
The program with the slogan, "I am Kisumu Talent Search" will involve children and youths below 35years, the main aim being to nurture new and upcoming talents within the county.
The event’s tag line, “I Am Kisumu Talent Search, “calls for registration of participants at the ward level, in the ward administrators office.
The talent search team is set to tour the Sub Counties with the first being Nyando on the 23rd February 2019 starting 8.00 am to 5.00 pm at Ahero Resources centre.
The talent search is open in all categories including, contemporary music, Dance, Drama Elocution Visual Arts creative writing and freestyle talents.
This is indeed an applaudable event that will see the department of tourism and culture grow to higher levels.
The county has been initiating programmes targeting youths in collaboration with the national government in line with the Big 4 Agenda being spearheaded by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
