There was drama on Thursday afternoon in Borabu, Nyamira County after a 24-year-old man who works at a local farm was busted in the act with his employer's daughter.
Witnesses said the man Barnabas Onsombi was caught doing bad manners by his boss who returned from work after he fell ill.
"Onsombi has been working at Christopher Ombati's farm for the last 2 years. He was caught today at 1 pm engaging in illicit sex with Ombati's daughter," noted Dennis Nyang'au.
Mr Nyang'au angered Ombati alerted neighbors who arrived the homestead to witness the incident.
Area assistant chief Ben Obae said Onsombi received a thorough beating from angry neighbors.
"Locals beat him up because the girl he was having sex with is in form 2. Upon questioning the girl, she revealed that Onsombi has been seducing for the last two years since he was hired to work at their farm," said Obae.
He said the man was taken to a local clinic for treatment because she sustained injuries.
The chief warned residents against beating suspects.
"Anyone who is cornered in the wrong side of the law must be surrendered to authorities for court processing," he said.
