The controversial city pastor told his congregation that they could pay and check whether they were going to heaven or hell.

The pastor alleged that God had revealed to him people who will go to heaven and those who will go hell through a special book register.

Thousands of Kenyans thronged Wahome’s church to see if their names were in the holy register.

However, the city pastor was allegedly charging his congregation Sh1000 to check whether their names were in the book of life or book of death.

Some of the people confessed that they had seen their names written in the heaven register.

Salome Mbaya, a follower of Pastor Wahome, said that she confirmed her name in the holy book.

“It was not a prank as some people especially media reported, personally I confirmed my name in the holy register,” Mbaya who stays in Nairobi’s Tassia area said.

She said that Pastor Wahome’s miracles are real and that people get healed when they touch his clothes.

Pastor Wahome confirmed that indeed he had and still has the heaven register.

The pastor, however, declined to comment on whether he was charging people Sh1000 to check their names.

The wealthy city pastor has in many times found himself in controversy.

In 2011, he divorced his wife Leah Mueni Wahome over child upkeep issues.

He is however among Nairobi’s famous and wealthy preachers.
