Fatma sat for her KCPE exams at Memon Villa and emerged the best performing KCPE student in Mombasa County this year after scoring 433 marks out of the possible 500.

She narrated to the DG her journey to success and how her passion for education drove her to work extra hard to achieve such an outstanding performance.

"Her story is quite inspirational and I believe that, shared with others, her story can inspire other students as well to achieve their academic potential," said Kingi after the meeting.

The DG challenged Fatma to get involved in peer mentorship programmes as a way of passing her best practices to other students and giving back to her community.

"As she joins secondary school, we wish her all the best hoping that she shall keep the focus and even do much more better at that level," said the deputy county boss.
