An MP from Gusii region has slammed NASA leader Raila Odinga following his dalliance with the Jubilee government.
Bobasi MP Innocent Obiri accused Raila of going against the will of his supporters by his alleged continuation to support "impunity in government".
Obiri said that Raila has failed his supporters and has also failed to show good leadership which are enough to lock him out of State House in 2022 should he decide to vie.
"It is worrying that Raila has gone against the will of supporters and he is now enjoying going to places with his opponent, President Uhuru Kenyatta. The former Prime Minister, instead of playing opposition roles; he is part of the government," he said.
Obiri added that Raila should now relinquish his role in the opposition and officially join the government.
"Raila needs to be sent away from the opposition because he is now fully in government helping Uhuru to borrow loans from foreign countries. This country needs a strong opposition team to watch the government but, not Raila," he stated.
The lawmaker who was speaking on Tuesday at Sameta in Kisii spoke as Raila left the country for China where together with President Uhuru Kenyatta, they will negotiate for another loan from the Chinese government.
The loan is meant to fund the construction of the SGR from Naivasha to Kisumu.
