Senate Minority Leader James Orengo has dismissed his boss Kipchumba Murkomen as a toddler as constitutional amendment debate took a new dimension on Friday.

At Narok, Murkomen had dismissed plans to amend the constitution, saying that they were orchastrated by selfish leaders.

In Nyamira on Friday, Orengo said the amendment would enable the country to fight vices such as exclusion and tribalism.

"We must change this Constitution because that is the only way Kenya can move ahead.

"Even the Chief Justice has recommended change of law on election petitions. Murkomen doesn't event understand the law more than the CJ. I don't think he will even reach that level," said Orengo.

The ODM party is pushing for parliamentary system of government that would see introduction of PM position.

Although President Uhuru Kenyatta has not come out clear on the matter, his Deputy William Ruto has dismissed the move.
