President Uhuru Kenyatta and the ODM leader Raila Odinga attended high profile weddings over the weekend.
On Saturday September 15th President Uhuru travelled to Murang’a County to attend to the wedding of Murang’a County Senator Irungu Kang'ata and his wife Mary Wambui.
“Congratulated newly weds, Murang'a Senator Irungu Kang'ata and his wife Mary Wambui during their wedding ceremony at St. Ann Gathinja Catholic Church in Murang'a.” posted President Uhuru on twitter.
On the other hand, ODM leader Raila Odinga remained in Nairobi, where together with the Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, they attended the former Garissa governor Nadhif Jama’s son, Khalid Nadhif Jama and Nasra Sheikh Nuh Mohammed wedding.
“I attended the wedding ceremony of Khalid Nadhif Jama, son of former Garissa governor Nadhif Jama and Nasra Sheikh Nuh Mohammed in Nairobi this afternoon. I wish the newly wed couple a blessed and happy union,” posted Raila on Twitter.
The two leaders are great leaders who attend to various occasion around the country including sports.
After enjoying their day in weddings, today they are happy people after the Kenyan athletic teams made Kenya proud by winning and even setting new records in both the male and female 2018 BMW Berlin Marathon.
