A 33-year-old man who serves as a pastor at a local church shocked villagers after he eloped with a married woman on Sunday Sameta in Kisii County.

Locals claimed that Pastor Ben Ombui eloped with Susan Rabera, a mother of 3 kids. 

"Ombui has been preaching at Jesus is Alive Ministry Church where Rabera was a choir member and a women's leader. On Sunday after church service he eloped with her," said Ronald Machoni.

"We tried to stop Ombui but, he could not listen. He confessed that he loves Rabera and he would better stop preaching if loving her is wrong," he said.
