A class seven drop out has been arrested after raping a granny by the roadside on Wednesday evening around 8 PM.
The granny who is known for making a lot of noise especially after taking alcohol ended her Wednesday evening badly way after Fredrick Karori, hurled her down and raped her.
The granny screamed at the top of her voice for help but nobody came to her aid as the residents of King'oina are used to her wails after taking liquor.
But in this particular day, she had not taken alcohol as she was coming from a her daughter's home.
The area chief Jacklif Omanga confirmed the incident and blamed the suspect's parents for the poor upbringing of their children.
In an impromptu baraza that was conducted after the boy was arrested, the chief condemned the mother to Karori for sugarcoating evils her son had been committing.
"Early this year the boy was caught in another man's house. I summoned him to the camp and gave him a directive to marry within 14 days. On following up the issue, the mother told me to let her son build a house and be a man to handle a family first, before marrying,"the chief said.
"The woman is the reason why his child has become so wild and mischievous in the village," the chief added.
He also said that he will not offer a hand in favour of the boy as they has despised his directive.
