Only accredited guests will be allowed entry to Sauti Kuu Foundation headquarters on Monday where Obama is the guest of honour.

And the youths, led by Douglas Maati of Kitutu Masaba ODM Youth League, accused organisers of blocking hundreds of Kenyans from accessing the event.

"We were here as early as yesterday and nothing will has been communicated. A number of us have been blocked from accessing the compound," he said on phone.

"It is a shame that we can be blocked from accessing the event. As youths, we deserved audience with the president."

Earlier, Western Kenya governors were also denied opportunity to meet Obama after making a formal application according to Nyamira Speaker Moffat Teya.

Also, Luo Council of Elders had reportedly been denied a one on one meeting with the former president much to their dissatisfaction.
