The former county boss lost his seat to incumbent governor Ferdinand Waititu of the ruling Jubilee Party, in a race where he (Kabogo) vied as an independent candidate.

He lashed out at Kiambu locals who have been calling upon him to salvage them from Waititu's poor leadership, terming it the consequences not their poor electoral choices.

He added that they should actually brace for more, noting that he has no intentions to intervene and they will have to deal with it until the very last minute.

"They will suffer until the last minute. Wale wananiambia eti Kabogo rudi, kwani kesho kuna uchaguzi? Watateseka sana, na bado (for those telling me to come back, do we have an election tomorrow? They will realy suffer, more to follow)," he said.

Kabogo was speaking on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show on Wednesday night, where he also declared that he has no plans of rejoining the Jubilee Party.

Kabogo who has repeatedly claimed that he was rigged out in the Jubilee primaries hinted at vying as an independent for his 2022 preferred seat, owing to a series of nomination riggings.

"Siwezi rudi Jubilee, sasa ni kuangalia tu. Ukiniambia tena niende nomination kwa vyama vya watu heri hata nijiunge na Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM). Siwezi enda nichinjwe tena, nimechinjwa mara tatu.

(I cannot rejoin Jubilee, all I can do is watch the happenings. Also, don't tell my to again particiapte in nominations in people's parties, o would rather join CCM. I have been slaughtered thrice, I cannot go for another one)," he added.
