Wife to ODM leader Raila Odinga, Ida Odinga was caught on camera picking neighbour’s fruits.
In a video doing rounds on Twitter, Ida is seen plucking the fruits with the help of a male aide. Their eldest daughter Rosemary Odinga can be seen warning them but it is not clear when the clip was recorded.
The fruit tree is in a neighbouring compound but some of its branches hang in the Odinga's space and Ida could not resist the juicy fruits.
She enjoys the moment with hearty laughter.
"Mama @IdaOdinga caught on camera enjoying neighbors fruits as @Rosemary_Odinga reports them to the viewers. @DPPS_KE & @DCI_Kenya should investigate this theft," a Twitter user Hezron Omondi posted.
The video has surfaced after Mama Ida celebrated her 69 birthday on Sunday. She seems to be enjoying her ageing with great memories of childhood games like enjoying wild fruits.
She received warm messages including from her husband who praised her for the great support she has offered to the family.
"Thank you for being a pillar of strength and guidance for us as a family all throughout the years. May God bless you on your special day. Happy Birthday Mama Ida, " Raila posted on Facebook.
