A boda boda rider who is fond of seducing school girls has been banned from a customer waiting bay (stage) where he has been operating from.
The incident happened on Tuesday in Nyagancha shopping center, Bomachoge Chache in Kisii County.
Area boda boda chairman, Dismas Omare, said the rider, Abel Mosigisi refused to follow the set rules by riders operating in the area leading to his expulsion from operating at the stage.
“We don’t want members of the public to continue being comparing to prostitutes especially seducing and sleeping with school girls. Mosigisi has been arrested several times for seducing school girls but we bail him out. Despite the numerous warnings, on Sunday he was caught with as school girl in a sugarcane farm,” he said.
He said riders’ officials agreed to ban him and he will not be allowed to operate in the area.
“We are not going to change our mind because the decision we made is final. Let him go far from the area. Members of the public should ignore him and ensure he doesn’t ferry them,” he said.
Area chief Michael Ogwora welcomed the riders’ decision saying it will serve as an example to the riders who are targeting to sleep with school girls.
He called on members of the public to ensure no one ruins the lives of young girls.
