Police officers in Nairobi have a launched a man-hunt for a single burglar giving Kilimani residents sleepless nights for almost two weeks.

The man, who has since been nicknamed “Spiderman” due his skills to move from one floor to another, moves around with a backpack in which he carries other tools. 

The first time to be captured on CCTV camera was in Kilimani area where he was seen jumping over a fence of a residential apartments. 

On this fateful day, the 'Spiderman' pulled an amazing stunt which was captured clearly on the cameras. 

He broke into the first floor of the apartment through the stair rail and allegedly made away with millions of shillings from the safe he broke into. 

This shocked the owner of the house who suffered shock and was taken to a hospital. 

On 14 this month, (Valentine’s Day), 'Spiderman' proved his skills again by breaking into a foreigner’s house and stealing his gun.

One of his victims revealed how he broke into his house.  

“I live on the second floor, and one morning I woke up and my jewelry and my laptop were missing, my house had been broken into,” she said.

“What if I got hurt? Because anything can happen, material things can be recovered, but it really scares me that someone was in my house and I’m all alone,” she continued. 

Kilimani OCPD Michael Muchiri has assured residents that security has been beefed in the area.
